A highly creative marketing and communications professional, Rebecca Black founded Black Current Marketing in 2006. Building on 15 years of experience in the international music industry, and armed with a Masters degree in Business and the Environment, Ms Black has since applied her considerable project management, marketing and business development expertise to help her clients achieve their sustainability and sales goals on time, on budget and in style.

Steven is an energetic and motivated sustainability practitioner with over 15 years’ experience working with leading corporations, government, and NGOs in the environmental and sustainability sector. Steven helps organizations develop their sustainability and stakeholder engagement visions and strategies, identify key risks and opportunities, set priorities and business cases, and engage with stakeholders. He has a Master of Environmental Studies (York U, Toronto) and Bachelor of Environmental Sciences (University of Guelph), and regularly guest lectures at universities and colleges across Canada.
Lianne is a freelance graphic designer with 20+ years of experience in a wide range of print and digital projects for a variety of businesses and not-for-profits. She collaborates closely with all stakeholders - clients, writers, web developers and printers - to create beautiful and impactful design solutions.
Emilia is a Black Current Marketing intern with an appetite for knowledge. A high school student, she's expanding her understanding of business and the tools used to be successful in a competitive atmosphere. Emilia aids Rebecca and clients with a range of tasks, from customer relationship management to social media strategies. Black Current strategized the marketing launch and campaign of Ontario’s first solar power co-op, including market research, website and social media design, marketing collateral and event materials, membership services training and more.
